Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Locked In App LLC (we), a Wyoming company, for your use of the Locked In app and this website. By using Locked In, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

What Locked In does

Locked In lets you use the websites of Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat and Facebook without their short-video feeds (Reels, Shorts, Spotlight), suggested posts or an endless feed, and uses Apple's Screen Time framework to lock their apps on your iPhone while the lock is on.

Locked In is an independent app. It isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc., Google LLC or Snap Inc. Instagram and Facebook are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc.; YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC; Snapchat is a trademark of Snap Inc. You use each account under that app's own terms, and you're responsible for your accounts.

These apps can change their websites at any time. When they do, parts of Locked In may stop working until we update the app. We'll fix it as fast as we can, but we can't promise that every feature will always work.

Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to accept these terms where you live. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to them for you.

Subscriptions and the free trial

• Locked In is a paid subscription. You'll see the price and how often you'll be charged in the app before you subscribe.
• New subscribers get a 3-day free trial. If you don't cancel before it ends, your subscription starts and you're charged automatically.
• Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
• Payments are processed by Whop, our payment provider, and are also subject to Whop's terms.
• If we change the price, we'll tell you before it applies, and you can cancel before you're charged the new price.

Cancelling

You can cancel any time in one tap: in Locked In, go to Settings and tap Cancel subscription. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again. Deleting the app doesn't cancel your subscription. You can also email hello@trylockedinapp.com and we'll cancel it for you.

Refunds

Your first payment comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. The details are on our refunds page. If something looks wrong with a charge, please email us before you dispute it with your bank: it's faster for you.

Using Locked In fairly

Don't copy, resell, reverse engineer or misuse the app, and don't use it to break the law or the terms of the apps you use with it. We may suspend access if you do.

Our app

The Locked In name, logo and app belong to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own or control, while your subscription is active.

No warranty

Locked In is a tool to help you spend less time on Reels. It isn't medical or psychological treatment. The app is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Apple

Locked In is distributed through Apple's App Store. Apple isn't a party to these terms and isn't responsible for the app or its support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and can enforce them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here takes away rights you have under the consumer laws of the place where you live.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page, and if the change is important we'll tell you in the app. If you keep using Locked In after that, you accept the new terms.
